Cider Drop: Raspberry-Cara Cara Orange Semi-Sweet Cider
Y'all wanted another red cider, so here ya go! This one's a real banger, too, and the combination of sweet, red raspberry and bright, citrusy cara cara orange (pretty similar to a navel orange) is just *chef's kiss.* Get it on tap and in cans to-go while you can! Spice It Up will be our Friday food truck (4PM to 8PM only), and Sweet Prik Thai Asian Fusion will be here all day on Saturday!

Artist Pop-Up: Ashley Franklin
Spring is in the air, and that breeze of artistic inspiration feels so good! Join us for our next artist pop-up, featuring local artist Ashley Franklin and her original woven works! Ashley's weaves make a terrific addition to any Alaskan art collection, so come check out her latest works! Spice It Up will be our food truck for the evening and will be here from 4PM to 8PM.

Brewed with Pride Collaboration Beer Release
We couldn't be more excited to celebrate our eighth annual Brewed with Pride collaboration with our friend and local legend, Larry Lowery! In celebration of Pride Month, please enjoy "The Blacker the Berry, The Sweeter the Pie Blackberry Pie-Inspired Sour!" Made with blackberry pureé, graham crackers and vanilla, this delectable drink evokes the best of summer. Thanks for another terrific collaboration, Larry, and happy Pride Month, everyone!

First Friday with Arleigh Hitchcock (THEM Processed Goods)
Join us as we welcome Arleigh Hitchcock (Them Processed Goods) as our featured artist for the month of June! Arleigh's newest collection, titled "Printing Chaos Re-Formed," was created using repurposed materials leftover from the printmaking process. Arleigh will also be doing live printing of original designs. Arleigh's work will be on display all month long!

Brewery Yoga
An energizing yoga flow in the sunshine followed by a pint of local goodness: is there a better way to start the weekend? Join us as we host Anna Marie Nolte for a lovely 75-minute yoga flow before our taproom opens! This event will take place in our main taproom, and prior yoga experience isn't required. BYO mat (we won't have loaners) and get ready for a good time! Oh, and registration includes a beverage token! Registration required. Register at june6bsbcyoga.eventbrite.com

June Trivia Night
The quiz boys are back! Jack and Donald have a fresh round of brain-busters for you. $5 per person, max 4 people per team. Meg's Eats & Treats will be the evening's food truck. We'll recognize excellence in knowledge and lack thereof at the end of the night.

Hurricane Hard Seltzer Release
Ready for BSBC to rock you like a hurricane? Here comes the latest drop in our hard seltzer series, Mixed by BSBC! This go-around is inspired by another beachy classic, the Hurricane! Featuring the flavors of orange, passion fruit and lemon, we'll even garnish it with an orange slice and an umbrella for you, just for release weekend.

Sun Never Sets Rosé IPA Release
Our most anticipated release of the year, our 2026 batch of Sun Never Sets Rosé IPA will drop on June 19! First brewed in celebration of BSBC owners Carey and Steph's wedding seven years ago, this unique brew is inspired by a fine rosé champagne. Effervescent, beautifully pink and dancing with gentle notes of strawberry, cherry and a little bit of citrus, this beer is always a crowd favorite. Plus, this year, it'll drop on Carey and Steph's actual anniversary! Aw! Sun Never Sets Rosé IPA will be available on tap and to-go in cans while supplies last. Spice It Up will be our food truck for the evening and will be available from 4PM to 8PM

Taproom FAQs
We’ve put together some answers to common questions in the hope we can save you some time, but please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a different question.
Contact UsSure! For additional information and to make a reservation, please email stephanie@blacksprucebeer.com. We're happy to reserve our rental room or, if you're feeling wild, the whole taproom for you, but otherwise, tables are first come-first served.
Our taproom is open to serve you Monday through Friday 3PM to 8PM and Saturday 12PM to 8PM. At present, we stop service at 8PM, and per Alaska state law, all customers need to be off of our licenses premise by 9:30PM.
We are located in South Fairbanks at 3290 Peger Rd STE B. Just south of the Mitchell Expressway.
Until December 31, 2023, Alaska state law mandated that breweries had to stop service promptly at 8PM. As of January 1, 2024, breweries are able to continue service up until 9PM, and all customers must be out by 9:30PM. Sound weird? It gets weirder. Per state law, we are also subject to a limit on how much we can serve on-premise: 36 ounces per person per day. We are not able to have televisions on-premise and are limited to a maximum of four live events per license per year (plus, we have to apply and pay for a permit to put on these events). Yeah, we know.
Yes! Each visitor may take up to 5.167 gallons of beer to-go per day. We offer 1/6 barrel (5.167 gallon) kegs, growler fills and 4-packs to-go. Need more than 5.167 gallons? We recommend that you either bring a friend or come back tomorrow!
As of February 19, 2024, we are offering direct-to-consumer shipments of our beer and cider to addresses (no PO boxes) on Alaska's road system. Some order limitations apply, and you can start an order by clicking the "purchase for delivery" button on the page of any of our brews or ciders on this website. We are working to add additional service areas and will update our website as we do.
Scroll down to the bottom of this page, and put your email address in the newsletter signup input field.
We offer a variety of sizes at a multitude of price points for your tasting requirements. Not sure what to try? Ask a server for some direction and a sample. And yes, our flights consists of three 4oz pours. You may legally have three flights to hit your 36oz limit per day.
Rest assured, we are working on it.
