We’re Back!

After a brief hiatus, the BSBC newsletter is back! Now, with even more stouts and beer awards!

The temperature is dropping and the snow is falling. You know what that means: stout season is here! Swing by our taproom to get your dark beer fix with any one of our four (FOUR!) stouts currently on tap, including two versions of our award-winning Long Nights Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout!

Not feeling stouts? Not to worry! We have plenty of other options, including a new hazy DIPA named Cumulus Reflections, a crispy collab with Devil’s Club Brewing Company called Kelp Yeah! Rice Lager with Kelp and hot mulled cider (available weekends only)! See you soon!

Fresh Accolades

Congratulations to our production team for recently winning SEVEN medals at the 2023 AK Beer Awards! Our team is humbled and honored to have received this recognition, and we couldn’t be more excited to share these brews with you! BSBC winners include Aroma Dome IPA and WOW! Real Fruit Smoothie-Style Sour, and a full list of this year’s winners can be viewed HERE.

Merch for Days

The change of seasons also bring a change in our merchandise offerings! Stop by our taproom to see all of our fresh items, including two new custom flannels, four fresh beanies and a wool flat bill cap that’s certain to be a must-have for any Alaska beer fan! We’ve got a couple more new items hitting our shelves soon, so check back in in a few weeks to see what else is new!

Upcoming Events

Freckled Pots will be joining us for a pop-up in our taproom this Thursday, November 16 from 4PM to 7PM! Stock up on some super cute, locally crafted gifts and enjoy a refreshing BSBC brew, all in one stop!

With the change in weather, we’ve moved our food vendors indoors! You can catch The Knotty Pretzel inside at our taproom on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and Megs Eats ‘n Treats indoors on Wednesdays and Thursdays! Food is available for here or to-go, and we’ll be hosting vendors all winter long!

Our next First Friday will be on Friday, December 1, and we’re thrilled to welcome local potter Heidi Morel back to our taproom! Heidi’s handcrafted mugs, bowls and plates always fly off of the shelves, so be sure to get here on First Friday to get first dibs at Heidi’s creations!

Brewery Brunch is held at our taproom every Saturday from noon until 3PM. Special brunch beer cocktails, like our spicy red beer, will be offered. We’ll also have fresh pastries from local bakeries like Marlo’s and Little Owl Cafe.

Our next round of Anchorage and Mat-Su deliveries is scheduled for Monday, December 4. We’ll be restocking your favorite bars, restaurants and retailers with BSBC staples and new releases.
