SUMMER HOURS & SAISONS!!!
We love those long Alaskan summer days, so we’re open extra hours for the season! Plus, the new season calls for a new saison!
Summertime is here (come surprise snow or sunshine)! We’re celebrating the season with extended hours for the season! Effectively immediately, we are now open from noon until 9PM Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays! We are open from 3PM until 8PM Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and closed on Sundays. Stop by for an early afternoon pint, enjoy lunch on our sunny patio or grab a few extra 4-packs while you’re out running errands! You can view our current beer and cider menu, food truck schedule and upcoming events on our website at the link below.

A Message from the Brewer
While we do not brew Saisons very often here at BSBC, they are a favorite of ours especially during the hot summer months. When our friends at Devil's Club Brewing in Juneau and Harbor Mountain Brewing in Sitka wanted to come up and curl in the Fairbanks Curling Club’s International Bonspiel (neither Jake nor Zach had ever curled before), we were super excited to throw some stones and whip up a nice lil' Saison for the summer.
We wanted to go fairly dry and minimalist with this saison. A blend of Bestmalz Pilsen and Weyermann Floor-Malted Bohemian Pilsen malts created a light and dynamic foundation. We sprinkled in some Weyermann Malted Spelt to add in depth of flavor and a soft mouth feel to balance out the dry finish. We used US Grown Adeena hops, which provide notes of spice and lemongrass, the perfect compliment to the white pepper and banana character of our chosen Saison yeast.
So, come sit in the sun and enjoy a pint of delicious Saison.

Calling all disc golfers! Back by popular demand, we have drivers, putters and mid-range discs in a ton of different colors and foils! Featuring a disc golf-version of our Alaska logo, these sharp discs make a great addition to your personal disc quiver and show off your love for local beer. Find them exclusively in our taproom, and happing throwing, folks!
Upcoming Events
Next Friday, we’ve got a big one comin’ atcha: prepare yourselves for the release of this year’s collaboration brew with Bun on the Run! Our sixth team-up celebrates the Bun’s new store, House of the Rising Bun, with a pastry-inspired orange cardamom kölsch-style ale. This beer will be available on tap, in 4-packs and through our online store, and be sure to grab a limited edition tee, too!
Psst… we’ve got a couple more live music events coming up! Mark your calendars for the evenings of Saturday, June 1 and Saturday, June 29! We’ll be out on the patio with some stellar local artists and great brews! Check back next week for additional details!
Our next First Friday event is coming up on Friday, June 7 and will feature local artist Teal Francis! You may recognize Teal’s name from her hosting duties on KUAC, and you’re going to love her artwork! Teal practices a variety of media, including drawings and printmaking. Her artwork will be on display and available for sale throughout June!
Anchorage and Mat-Su accounts, we’re comin’ for ya! Our next round of Anchorage and Mat-Su deliveries will be on May 6 & 7. Prepare yourself for a whole mess of new releases, including a new collab and a fresh lager!
