This weekend, our sixth annual collaboration with Bun on the Run will hit our taps! Plus, an outdoor concert, outdoor eats and more!
Prepare yourselves, folks! Tomorrow, we’ll celebrate the release of our sixth annual collaboration with our friends at Fairbanks staple Bun on the Run! This year’s brew celebrates the opening of the Bun’s new brick-and-mortar cafe, House of the Rising Bun! Without further ado, this year’s brew is titled:
Tastes Good on the Bun VI: Brew of the Rising Bun Orange Cardamom Kölsch-Style Ale
Inspired by, you guessed it, the Bun’s orange cardamom rolls, this light and refreshing brew features bright citrusy notes from an addition of cara cara orange and an enticing and intriguing nose from an addition of cardamom. This year’s label features new, original artwork from local artist Sara Karl. Sara has created new works for each of our Bun collaboration releases, and she knocked it out of the park again this year! You can grab pints and cans of this year’s release from our taproom beginning tomorrow, and limited edition tees will be available beginning next week!
Outdoor Eats
It’s warming up outside, and we’ve got food back on the patio for the season! Whether it’s crispy egg rolls by Sweet Prik Thai Asian Fusion (pictured), fresh gyros by Meg’s Eats & Treats or any of our other terrific local options, you can now get a bite with your beer outdoors!
Outdoor Tunes
Next Saturday, June 1, we’ll be welcoming the Honeybucket Stringband to our patio! These fine, folksy Fairbanksans will be performing LIVE on our patio beginning at 6PM! Follow the link for details, and stay tuned for details on another June show!
Oh, Palmer…

Upcoming Events
Ever been curious about participating in roller derby? Well, Friday’s your lucky day! Fairbanks Roller Derby will be at our taproom for a meet-and-greet and recruiting event this Friday, May 24 from 6:30PM-8:30PM! Meet the rollers, ask about participating and enjoy a fine brew or cider!
Reminder: Our summer hours are in effect! We’re now open from noon to 9PM Thursday through Saturday!
Who’s ready to move the live music party outside? We are! Next Saturday, June 1 at 6PM, we’ll be welcoming the Honeybucket Stringband to our patio for an evening of good vibes, great music and excellent beer! There is no cover charge for this event, and kids with a parent are welcome. Early Bird Loaded Fries will be on-hand, if you need a bite to eat. Our next First Friday event is coming up on Friday, June 7 and will feature local artist Teal Francis! You may recognize Teal’s name from her hosting duties on KUAC, and you’re going to love her artwork! Teal practices a variety of media, including drawings and printmaking. Her artwork will be on display and available for sale throughout June!
The tunes keep coming! On Saturday, June 29, we’ll be showcasing a stellar trio of Alaskan artists! Casey Smith Project, Bethlehem Shalom and Matt Hopper & the Roman Candles will all be performing live on our patio beginning at 6PM! Like our June 1 show, there is no cover charge for this event, and kids with a parent are welcome. Early Bird Loaded Fries will be on-hand, if you need a bite to eat. You can catch us at Palmer Alehouse for Lagers on the Lawn on Sunday, June 30! This event will be a celebratory beer garden featuring lagers and lawn-sippers from across Alaska! All proceeds benefit the Brewers Guild of Alaska, and you can get tickets for this event HERE.
Anchorage and Mat-Su accounts, we’re comin’ for ya! Our next round of Anchorage and Mat-Su deliveries will be on June 3. Prepare yourself for a restock of your faves and a limited drop of our new Bun on the Run collab!
