Who doesn’t love having fun with their friends? We had a blast brewing up two incredible collaboration beers with our friends at Fairbanks’ own Midnite Mine Brewing Company. Both  beers are available at our taproom NOW!

Barrel-Aged Postmodern Classic Imperial Pastry Stout is an extra decadent take on last fall’s MMBC team-up. Aged for ten months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels and conditioned on toasted macadamia nuts, toasted coconut flakes and vanilla, this beer is as dessert-like a beer as you can get. Enjoy this luscious treat on tap (10oz pour) or to-go (single 16oz cans only).

A Momentary Relapse of Clarity Cold DIPA is brand spankin’ new and a stellar summer sipper. Prepare your palate for crisp bitterness and a dry finish. Additions of Idaho Gem and Vic Secret hops create notes of white wine, grapefruit and dank fruitiness. You can enjoy this beer by the pint on tap or to-go (4-packs and growler fills).

At Long Last…

Alright, folks: we’re finally doing it. After over four and a half years of brewing, Black Spruce is FINALLY brewing… a spruce tip beer! We’re not brewing just any spruce tip beer: we’ve teamed up with our friends at Sitka’s Harbor Mountain Brewing Company to concoct a double IPA made with Sitka sitka spruce tips! Look for this fresh collab to drop in a few weeks!

Seasonal Return

The sandhill cranes will soon be returning to our area, and with them will come the return of Sandhill Sippa Hazy Pale Ale! We’re brewing up this late summer ale TODAY and will have draft pours, cans and kegs to-go available in a few weeks! Stay tuned for details about a taproom event with the Friends of Creamer’s Field, too!

Upcoming Events

Brewery Brunch is held at our taproom every Saturday from noon until 3PM. Special brunch beer cocktails, like our spicy red beer, will be offered. We’ll also have fresh pastries from local bakeries like Marlo’s and Little Owl Cafe.

Registration is now open for the 2023 Nenana-Rama Bike Race, taking place Saturday, August 26! Choose from 25 or 50-mile courses, and prepare for a day of hard pedaling and tons of fun! Racer bib pick-up will be at our taproom on Thursday, August 24 from 3-8. Follow the race on Facebook for additional race updates.

Our next First Friday will be held on Friday, August 4 and will feature returning artist Baxter Bond! Bax’s stunning photos from around Alaska will be on display and available for purchase all month long.

Our next round of Anchorage and Mat-Su deliveries is scheduled for Wednesday, August 9. We’ll be restocking your favorite bars, restaurants and retailers with BSBC staples and new releases.
